Needless to say this is a massive debt-funded fiscal spending program at a time when Debt to GDP is at a record level. The bill does its best to obfuscate the truth by presenting information in a manner that makes it difficult to identify the relevant figures and information (not a summary table to be found anywhere in the bill). The Federal Reserve is about to take its balance sheet from $7.6 Trillion to approximately $9.5 Trillion to subsidize this program. And so like Sisyphus, future generations will face an uphill battle dealing with the fiscal sins and resultant debt burden created by this current crop of politicians.
