It’s Early Days for Cloud Platforms AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
Health records, utilities, payment processing systems, streaming platforms and thousands of other consumer and commercial use cases will either be migrated to the cloud or will continue to scale on the cloud. This activity will continue to drive cloud revenue growth for decades to come. AWS, Azure and Google Cloud are well-positioned to become three of the world’s largest companies over the next decade measured as if each was a standalone company. Do not count out Google Cloud. Embedded AI services will increasingly become the deciding factor in cloud platform selection and AWS and Azure are playing catch-up to Google in the AI department. As we have written previously, Google’s stiffest AI competition will come from China Inc., not an American company.
