OpenAI is one of the more interesting AI companies. We learned of it years ago (circa 2014), before we launched our Identity Hub offering for the P&C insurance industry. We played with OpenAI’s chatbot – ChatGPT – a moment ago. Here is what we found..

• What is ChatGPT? ChatGPT is a natural language chatbot that is able to engage in conversation.
• Depth of knowledge. ChatGPT’s depth of knowledge is quite good across domains based upon what I have read about the chatbot.
• Accuracy. Good, but difficult to measure after only a few, qualitative-based queries.
• Speed. The chatbot is extremely fast. For example, I just fed the contents of our previously published TEK2day article to the chatbot and asked its opinion as to how investors would receive the article. The bot responded within one second and completed the response within four seconds. You may read the exchange below:
